Opportunity: The dedicated IN Compass Hospitalist team provides 24/7 coverage at Yuma Regional Medical Center. The Hospitalist team consists of 7 rounders/day + 1 NP during the day with a dedicated nocturnist. In the summer when the census decreases, the staffing consists of 5 rounders/day + 1 NP + a dedicated nocturnist. The staffing model is 7 on, 7 off without call. The ICU is open with an Intensivist program and short-term vent management is required and ability do do procedures are a plus.
Hospital: Yuma Regional Medical Center is a full-service, 406-bed, Level II trauma center with excellent specialty back up and over 300 physicians on staff. The medical center serves the entire SW region of Arizona and is a tertiary referral center for the region. The facility is state of the art and has a Family Medicine residency program affiliated with University of AZ.
