My client, a 429 bed facility located in a southern capitol city is currently seeking a Hospitalist to join a well-established group of five Internists. This is an employed position and the need is immediate. $335,000 is the income potential. Here are some details:
• No assigned shifts – not required to stay in Hospital once rounding is complete
• Intensivist available to provide ICU/critical care coverage
• Nurse Practitioner available to assist with rounding
• Schedule – Monday through Friday/off weekend/Monday through Sunday/off seven days/rotation repeats
• Compensation $200K base salary + 10% performance bonus based on quality and citizenship criteria; opportunity to earn additional $$$ working at LTAC
• Excellent benefit package includes paid CME days and allowance; paid malpractice with extended reporting coverage; optional health/dental/vision insurance; 401(k) retirement, and opportunity to participate in the Physicians’ Tax Advantage Wealth Program
• Board certification required

My client is a 429-bed healthcare facility and has been a leader in cutting-edge technology for more than 40 years. Its core centers of excellence include diagnostic and surgical cardiology, obstetrics and women\'s health, cancer care services, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, surgery, pediatrics and adult medicine.
The city is the state capitol and known for its southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle. It has a population of 1M. With its mild climate and the presence of a 33,000 acre reservoir, outdoor recreational activities and sporting events abound year round. Cultural events are also plentiful including the international ballet competition, Broadway productions, symphony, opera, interactive museums, planetarium, and international art exhibits.
The presence of tort reform coupled with the absence of HMOs and a reasonable cost of living makes this city a very attractive place to live and practice medicine.
