This growing program is seeking an enterprising and service-oriented hospitalist in the jewel city of the Pacific Northwest.

• This established program has an opening due to a promotion. Stability and quality of life/practice are virtually ensured due to 12-15 patient encounters daily, web-based-software facilitating easy communications and “blocked” scheduling which results in 14-15 days off each month.
• For over 80 years, this suburban, state-of-the-art medical center – via an expanding array of inpatient, outpatient, specialty and health education services – has emphasized building a healthier community and the 8 physician hospitalist program is a key component in meeting these objectives.

City of Roses
• Proclaimed as North America’s “Best Big City” by Money Magazine, Portland has a magnificent setting with sparkling waterways and lush greenery rarely found in urban settings. You will find the city’s historic old town, many galleries, museums and theatre companies. Also, just a short distance away are wineries, skiing and the excitement of the Oregon coast.
• A city like Portland is expected to have world-class shopping, plus there is an added advantage – no sales tax in Oregon!
• Nationally-recognized planning efforts have successfully addressed growth rates and family life, providing a variety of housing choices which are the most affordable of major West Coast cities. Also, Oregon’s schools rank very favorably in most surveys.
• With Outside magazine recognizing Portland as “1 of the 10 Greatest Places to Live,” and less rain than Atlanta, Houston or New Orleans, its no wonder why outdoor activities like biking, hiking, snow skiing and golf are a major part of the lifestyle.
