The need is ASAP pending credentialing for two full-time Hospitalists. They have to expand the program and need locums until they have secured permanent physicians.
This is a 150+ bed general acute care, Level III trauma center located in the Sacramento, California area. The Hospitalist team consists of 2 day teams & 1 nocturnal team addressing the needs of approximately 30 patients. The schedule is a 7on/7off, day and night shifts. Hospitalists manage their patients in the ICU so extreme comfort with the ICU and procedures is required. Must be comfortable with procedures, and be able to share case logs during privileging process.
