Permanent Hospitalist Opening in Upstate New York (2 hours from NYC)
- Hospitalist group is expanding and has both full-time day and night positions available
- Details on the day position:
- Seven on seven off schedule
- 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
- Work with 3 other providers and average 15 patients per shift and 1-2 admissions
- Open ICU
- Codes & RRT run by hospitalists
- Must be comfortable with procedures (need to know how to use Glide scope for intubation)
- Details on the night position:
- Five on five off schedule
- 7:00 pm – 8:00 am
- Cover all Hospitalist patients, RRT and Codes and ED call
- Admissions average 6-8 per shift
- On call room available
- EMR: Meditech
- This position is located only 45 minutes from Albany and 2 hours from NYC
- The hospital has 250 beds
- The population is 7000 and the cost of living is low
- Hospital recently changed their compensation package and are very competitive with the other hospitalists programs, based on MGMA national average
