Hospitalist Long term locums Gaffney SC
Salary 150 dollars per hour plus lodging and travel
Patient census 17 per day
Must have PEDS crossover background
Looking for 1 provider for long term assignment if a quality doc
125 bed acute care facility
Patient census 17-30 per day that is split between Mid-Level
BC/BE in IM, FP or GS- prefers IM or FP
PALS, BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required
Will rotate 7 on 7 off- Must be willing to commit to the 7 on 7 off rotation
1 physician on 7a-7p then takes on call till 7a
1 MLP (PA) on 7a-7p & 1 MLP (PA) 7p-7a
Day admits range from 1-6 on average and night admits range from 1-8 on average. PA handles night admits unless it is a critical care patient. Some Pas may write orders till the morning when the physician comes in at 7a others don’t write orders and the physician will have to come it to do the admit (vary seldom this happens). If it is a PEDS or ICU patient the on-call physician may have to come in and admit (depends on the illness)
EMR: ½ paper and ½ Maps
Low volume facility
Open ICU
Will respond to codes
No Scribes but will call in and dictate
12 ICU beds, 24 PICU beds
Full credentials are 2-3 months, will do temps with a 100% clean background and no MP
