Vidant Medical Group and Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton, NC are seeking a Medical Director for Hospitalist program. The successful candidate will be BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Accepting Visa Candidates.
Job Highlights include:
• 4 days on/Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 4-bed ICU; EKG interpretation required
• Average inpatient census is 12 patients per day
Vidant Medical Group is a multispecialty physician group sponsored by Vidant Health. Currently Vidant Medical Group employs over 425 providers including primary care and specialists. The group offers the infrastructure needed to manage a modern medical practice including processes for billing and collection, group contracting, electronic medical records and other technologies.
Vidant Chowan Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in six counties. The hospital offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic, and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. The 7-bed ER serves approximately 18,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.
Edenton, NC: Edenton is a unique showcase of architecture, culture, and Old South charm.
