Now seeking BC/BE IM/FM HOSPITALISTS for part time, locum, locum-to-perm, moonlighting/PRN, full time opportunities in Springfield, MA at Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts (LTAC)! Temp privileges may be available!
Details include, but are not limited to:
• Program size: 8 FTE
• Hospital Beds: 50
• ICU beds: 10
• Open ICU
• Patient Census: Day: 11-17
Admits (on average/daily): Day: 2 with spikes up to 8.
• Number of Teams & Hours: 2 Day Teams: 7am-7pm
• DUTIES: Rounds and Admits at LTAC consisting of higher acuity patients, equivalent to a step-down/ICU setting.
• PROCEDURES/CODES: Emergency Vent Management and Emergency Intubations REQUIRED.
Privileges granted for additional procedures performed require case logs.
Daily Specialty Backup: Pulmonary, vent management, cardiology available for consults and to assist with procedures.
CHARTING: HMR EMR System: Training on EMR and dictations systems will occur 1-2 days prior to first shift. Notes are written. Preprinted forms for notes. Vitals/orders/labs on computer.
• Candidates with ICU/CC/PULM experience and candidates in fellowships are ideal.
• CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
BC preferred/BE with min 5 years of training.
FP with relevant experience.
CREDENTIALING: 2-4 weeks for TEMP PRIVILEGES/Average credentialing timeframe: 60 days
