Hospitalist - Pediatrics - Physician - (Hospitalist - Peds) Locum Tenens
Seeking Pediatric Hospitalist to help pick up shifts. Physician required to come in round on patients then take call. Not required to stay in hospital. New providers will need to come in day before scheduled call for orientation.
Coverage needed:
June 4th - June 7th (7am - 7am)
June 19th - June 21st (7am - 7am)
Details:
Will accept BC physicians
Must be PALS and NRP certified
Inpatient Only (Come in and see patients then on call)
Average # of patients/day/provider: 2
No ICU/Critical Care Duties
Responds to Codes

FT Anesthesiologist
Onsite Radiologist
24 hour Laboratory Availability

A pediatric hospitalist(locum tenens) is a physician who works with children in inpatient or hospital settings. They offer care to children in multiple departments, including: labor and delivery, intensive care, the pediatric ward, and newborn nursery. A pediatric hospitalist work with regular pediatricians and other physicians involved in a child's care, to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment plan available. A pediatric hospitalist provides treatment in the areas of illness, injury, surgery, and newborn care.
