Hospitalist - Pediatrics - Physician - (Hospitalist - Peds) Locum Tenens
Our client in NC is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to pick up shifts throughout the end of the year into 2015. Must have PALS and be NRP certified. No ICU or Critical Care duties. Not required to stay onsite. Will be responsible for rounding and will be on call.
A pediatric hospitalist(locum tenens) is a physician who works with children in inpatient or hospital settings. They offer care to children in multiple departments, including: labor and delivery, intensive care, the pediatric ward, and newborn nursery. A pediatric hospitalist work with regular pediatricians and other physicians involved in a child's care, to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment plan available. A pediatric hospitalist provides treatment in the areas of illness, injury, surgery, and newborn care.
