Vidant Medical Group and Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC are seeking a BC/BE Med-Peds Hospitalist to join its existing staff.

Highlights include:
• Currently six physicians on the team
• 7 ON/7OFF including some nights 7am – 7pm
• Inpatient Only
• Critical Care duties
• Procedures include vent management, intubation, paracenteseis, thoracentesis, central lines, conscience sedation, and RSI

Vidant Medical Group is a multi-specialty physician group sponsored by Vidant Health. Currently Vidant Medical Group employs over 450 providers including primary care and specialists. The group offers the infrastructure needed to manage a modern medical practice including processes for billing and collection, group contracting, electronic medical records and other technologies.

Vidant Edgecombe Hospital is a modern 117-bed JCAHO accredited full service acute care facility. The hospital has a full-time Emergency Medicine Department and Hospitalist program. Vidant Edgecombe works every day to improve the health of Edgecombe County's people. Its partnership with Vidant Health gives patients access to state-of-the-art services provided by an academic medical center.
