Medstaff is working with a hospital system in IA and they are seeking Hospitalist locums coverage beginning as early as March with ongoing coverage needed. When you have a moment please review the job description below and contact me should you have an interest or availability.

Provider: Hospitalist (Family Medicine or Med/Peds)
Location: Spencer, Iowa
JOB DESCRIPTION
- This is a 7 on / 7 off schedule, Monday - Monday, 7a-7p
- Range 3 to 21 patients, average per day being 12
- 99 Bed facility with average overall hospital inpatient census of 30
- 2 nights of call per week, 1 night during the week and 1 night on the weekend.
- BC'd Family Practice or Med/Peds
- Pediatric admits (not very many) about 6 per year and only keep stable
- No OB coverage
- No procedures
- We do now have a ARNP during the week to assist with rounds
- Responds to inpatient Code Blues and RRT's ED doc also responds to code blues
- Excellent remuneration
