Hospitalist | Locum Tenens Opportunity in North Carolina
Southwest Corner of NC
• Locum tenens Hospitalist needed December 23rd Ongoing
• 2 physicians during day plus Midlevel 24/7
• 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital (ICU – 6 beds)
• 7am – 7pm
• Call rotation 1:2 (Short Call is 7p – 7a), Long call is 5p – 7a and doc can round and leave that day)
• 15 – 18 patient encounters per day (includes 3 – 4 admissions)
• Central Lines, codes, vent management and stress test proficiency is a must!
• Intubations but ED and Anesthesia back up
• Sub Specialty support includes: Anesthesia, Surg, OB/Gyn, ENT, Ortho, Pulm, Uro
• Candidates need to have ICU experience
• Declining patients are transferred to a larger hospital
• EMR is CPSI
• BCIM Preferred (Ideally need physicians with experience and comfortable in this type of facility)
• Privileges:
o Temp privileges will be issued if someone can cover the week of Christmas.
