Leadership Opportunity as Medical Director for our Hospital Medicine team at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke, Massachusetts. We are looking for a candidate with strong clinical management, leadership, and communication skills to lead our team at this 198-bed, not-for-profit community hospital, which is a member of Valley Health Systems. Physicians cover the regular floor and see an average of 15 patients per day. There is a closed ICU and no procedures are required. The medical director will split time 50/50 between clinical and administrative duties. Physician coverage is in a 7-on/7-off model with 3 shifts from 7am to 7pm and 1 shift from 7pm to 7am. APC coverage is provided from 11am to 11pm on a 7-on/7-off block schedule. Requirements include: inpatient and hospital medicine director experience; board certified/eligible in internal medicine; active ACLS certification.
