We are looking for an MD (Hematologist) to provide medical support for the study team near Newark NJ. You will be the Global primary contact person during the course of the study for medical/safety questions, responsible for content of medical sections of
protocol/amendments, facilitates center identification and medical discussions with Investigators, participates in criteria selection to ensure that the staff have the requisite subspecialty experience and defines outsourced medical activities, Trains study team, monitors, site staff and staff (if applicable) on medical aspects of the study, indication and compound, Provides medical input at investigators’ meetings and presents the medical background and rationale for the trial, and writes the Medical review plan. Reviews patient medical data (blinded) during the course of the study to identify possible safety or data quality issues (consults with international drug safety manager. May help prepare/ negotiate Health Authority Approvals and reimbursement.

The candidate requirements:
• Hold a degree of Medical Doctor preferred board certified
specialist or in-depth experience in the Hematology area for which he /she will be
a Study Medical Expert.
• 3-5 years experience as a Study Medical Expert, including both a research & business/operational background.
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Be familiar with the regulatory and legal environment.
• Be a team player.
• Be sensitive to different global cultures/needs.
• Be a good communicator for both scientific discussions and
training needs.
