Gastroenterologist - Physician - (Gastroenterology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in North Texas is looking for multiple Gastroenterologists for ongoing coverage in their Surgery Center. The typical shift is 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weeknight and weekend call. This position is procedure based only with no clinic or hospital rounding required. Gastroenterologists(locum tenens) are physicians who have specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of medical issues associated with the digestive track, including organs such as the esophagus, stomach, liver, intestines and pancreas. These physicians treat conditions such as acid reflux disease, hemorrhoids, ulcers, IBS, hernias and hepatitis, among many other others. Gastroenterologists are well versed in knowledge pertaining to the movement of food through the body and receive extensive training in endoscopic procedures and imaging.
