MedCare staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for New Mexico. This is a 6 month position beginning June 1, 2014 and has the possibility of another 6 month extension.
Monday through Friday:
7:30a-4p for GI Endoscopic Procedures
8a-4:30p for Outpatient
No call. Some overtime may be required.
Scope of Practice:Serve as the attending for inpatient, outpatient, and consultation services. Perform GI Endoscopic procedures, including, but not limited to EGDs, ERCPs, Colonoscopies, Liver Biopsies, and Paracentesis.
Requires physicians to be either Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology with licensure in any U.S. state. Must have an active DEA, BLS, and ACLS and VetPro registration must be updated. Prior experience in a VA medical center preferred. Malpractice history and background check must be submitted.
