Job Description

Last Update: 10/22/14
WE CONTINUE TO GROW here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. We are currently hiring BC/BE Gastroenterologists with a focus in motility. Due to our quickly growing practice, we have recently completed a major renovation that has increased clinic and procedure space. Our faculty sees patients on main campus as well as satellite locations around Columbus.

These are academic positions that emphasize patient care, house staff and fellowship training, and basic or clinical research. Clinical faculty members participate in all aspects of patient care.
Exciting time as our medical center is experiencing incredible growth and, too, our new Gastroenterology Division Director, Dr. Darwin Conwell from Harvard, started with us this past fall. He has taken the reigns to launch us in to new levels within our Internal Medicine Department.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, located in Columbus, Ohio, has been ranked as one of “America’s Best Hospitals" by U.S. News and World Report for 20 consecutive years. We are one of the largest health care programs in the region and the only academic medical center in central Ohio. For 21 years, US News and World Report has recognized The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a national leader in quality outcomes and patient safety.

The Ohio State University is the only academic medical center in Central Ohio and has been ranked as one of the top ten academic medical centers in the United States by the University Health System Consortium for delivering high-quality, safe, effective care.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center made the U.S. News & World Report’s 2012 rankings of “America’s Best Hospitals” for the 20th consecutive year, and was voted one of Central Ohio’s “Best Places to Work” by Columbus Business First newspaper.”
