Gastroenterologist - Physician - (Gastroenterology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Central Florida facility seeks Gastroenterologist for immediate and ongoing locum tenens coverage. Procedures will include upper and lower GI and ERCP. Adult only patients. Emergency privileges are available. ICU and ER coverage will be required. Call Staff Care for more details.
Gastroenterologists(locum tenens) are physicians who have specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of medical issues associated with the digestive track, including organs such as the esophagus, stomach, liver, intestines and pancreas. These physicians treat conditions such as acid reflux disease, hemorrhoids, ulcers, IBS, hernias and hepatitis, among many other others. Gastroenterologists are well versed in knowledge pertaining to the movement of food through the body and receive extensive training in endoscopic procedures and imaging.
