Gastroenterologist - Physician - (Gastroenterology) Locum Tenens
Health system in Central Wisconsin needing locums coverage for a Gastroenterology practice. End of September- ongoing for minimum 2 weeks per month. Candidates must be Board Certified in GI and will work in an all-inpatient setting. Must be comfortable with rounding and consultations, procedures as needed. Gastroenterologists(locum tenens) are physicians who have specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of medical issues associated with the digestive tract, including organs such as the esophagus, stomach, liver, intestines and pancreas. These physicians treat conditions such as acid reflux disease, hemorrhoids, ulcers, IBS, hernias and hepatitis, among many other others. Gastroenterologists are well versed in knowledge pertaining to the movement of food through the body and receive extensive training in endoscopic procedures and imaging.
