Full time position in beautiful southeastern North Carolina. This is a beautiful new facility and a practice site of a federally qualified community health center in Fayetteville, NC. NO hospital call, NO weekend hours. Just an hour from the beach, an hour from Raleigh and minutes from the most beautiful golf courses in the nation!
The Family Practitioner or Internal Medicine Physician we seek is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The physician will apply his/her educational background and experience, along with assistance from other health team members, to provide care to approximately 15 to 20 patients daily. The physician will maintain a patient centered approach through the utilization of the modern electronic health record system and highly efficient medical support and patient services staff. The physician will provide patient care in only an outpatient setting and is not required to complete rounds within a hospital setting.

About our Organization:
A private, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization as well as a federally qualified community and migrant health center organization that has served the residents of eastern North Carolina since 1979. The health center’s mission is to improve the lives of each and every one of our patients through quality health care. The center serves 41,356 patients and has provided over 140,000 medical and dental visits across twenty-four (24) service delivery locations. While Wayne, Duplin and Sampson counties are the bedrock of the delivery system, areas as far out as Cumberland, Craven, Onslow, Jones, and Columbus Counties are included in the largest community health center system in the state of North Carolina.
Qualified applicants will be American trained and a graduate of an accredited Physician Residency Program. New graduates will be considered, but a NC license or eligibility is essential. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic is desirable, but not required. Board certified or board eligible is preferred.

Knowledgeable of EHR capabilities and functions
Thorough understanding of patient-centered approach and the fundamentals of value-based medicine
