Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Part Time
Board Eligible (Outside of Residency) or Board Certified Family Practice physician needed in a New York City outpatient Community Health Center starting in October. This job opportunity offers Full-Tima & Part-Time schedules. The provider must be well-versed in a primary care setting.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
NY licensed Family Practice physician needed 10/13 - Ongoing. Schedule: Varied Schedules 40 hour work week & Part-Time hours available (Client is flexible and will work with a providers schedule) Certifications: BE (Outside of Residency) / BC, DEA. Type of patients seen: 60% adult, 40% PEDS, 10-20ppd, 70% schedule. Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Well visits, HIV care, follow up visits, and physicals. Support Staff: NP's, MD's, and Office Staff. EMR Charting: Green Way Success EHS
