Duties will include:
- Providing direct patient care in Family Medicine office.
- Supervising and teaching residents to provide high quality continuity care to the patients in the Family Medicine teaching Clinic.
- Conducting evaluations of residents and students consistent with the guidelines of the Family Medicine residency program.
- Participating in the quality, performance improvement, patient safety and accreditation initiatives of the Family Medicine clinic and residency program.
- Implementing written curriculum that describes both patient-based and educational elements of the residency.
- Attending Family Medicine Residency faculty meetings and other meetings as required for the operations and administration of the Family Medicine program.
- Serving as Clinical Team Leader for Family Medicine and Transitional residents.
- Serving as part of the faculty call schedule on the inpatient Family Medicine Service.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as an Intern/Resident in Family Medicine.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio.
- Graduate of accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Must qualify for staff privileges in Family Medicine at Mercy St. Vincent.
- Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent).
