This is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a nursing home attached and another home in the area. It's a great facility and call is shared with the other primary care providers. The physician will have a busy practice from Day One! Two physicians recently left the practice to try it in another city, leaving behind nearly 4,000 patients. The medical center does not have an ICU, but does have general surgery and an ER. In addition, many subspecialists rotate up there on a weekly basis to provide patient care, including cardiology, GI, nephrology, pulmonology and endocrinology.
