Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician needed at outpatient VA clinic in Monroe, LA. 100% outpatient work seeing adult patients only. Provider must be competent in modern treatment principles and techniques, and fully trained in all aspects of routine adult medical care. Physician will provide general medical care for scheduled and unscheduled patients, conduct general internal medicine outpatient clinical services, and document clinic notes in EMR system. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with no call or weekend work required. Providers must have any unrestricted license in a US State, Territory, or Commonwealth, DEA, BLS certification, and will be required to get a Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider number. VA experience is preferred but not required. Need begins October 1 or as soon as credentialed through March 20, 2015.
