Physician owner of a 30+ year established practice is seeking a
Family Physician or an Internist to join the practice on a full-time basis or locums to permanent.
Physician joining practice will have a rare & challenging opportunity. Current physician, after 40 years in the community, is highly respected and very influential. Owner is seeking the right candidate to take over her practice within two years and will continue to assist in anyway to make the ownership transition successful.
Initially Locum's to perm is available if physician prefers.
Location: Newport News, VA. area
Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Census: currently 10-15 patients per day
No Call (physician can choose to participate)
No Hospital (physician can choose to participate)
No Weekends
The physician would be working with the owner and nurse practitioner
Compensation package will be negotiable based on candidate's qualifications.
