Interested in caring for Veterans? Maxim Government Services (MGS), a service delivery of Maxim Healthcare Services, is currently seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a contract opportunity to provide outpatient services at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Sioux City, IA. Any state license works. Maxim can assist with temporary lodging and relocation, if applicable. Malpractice insurance is covered.
Sioux Falls is the fourth largest city in Iowa, and has been recognized as a top economic development community in the US for cities with populations between 50,000 and 200,000. The opportunity is in an outpatient clinic, hours are day shift M-F with no call.

Qualifications
1. Meet requirements for appointment to the Medical Staff, Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws. The services to be performed by the Contractor will be performed within the VA policies and procedures and the regulations of the Medical Staff Bylaws of the VAMC.

2. Contractor must be credentialed by Chief of Staff, Sioux Falls, SD.

3. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the states or territories of the United States or District of Columbia.

4. Contract providers shall have the ability to read, understand, speak and write the English language fluently in accordance with PL 95-201.

5. Provide evidence of annual TB testing or receive a TB test at this VA.

6. Provide evidence of current professional liability insurance.

7. Adhere to all applicable Joint Commission standards.
