Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Indian Health clinic in Southern Oklahoma is seeking a Family Practice Physician or General Practitioner for its outpatient clinic to start as soon as possible. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, no weekends no call. Must be comfortable with all ages. The assignment is for three months with the option to extend.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
Oklahoma license required
DEA, BLS required
Must be comfortable with EHR's
