Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Full-time locum tenens Family Practice or Internal Medicine opportunity available ASAP and ongoing until our client hires a permanent physician. The provider will see an average of 25 patients per day, all in an outpatient setting. There is no call at this Community Health Center. EMR experience is highly desired and you must be Board Certified. This is a great opportunity with the flexibility to work a 4 day work week if desired.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
