• Rochelle Community Hospital is seeking a family medicine physician to join its team of providers. This position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• An incoming physician can expect to see approximately 20 patients per day.
• Call is 1:5.
• This OSF Affiliate hospital features a Multi-Specialty Center, a Fitness Center on site and provides a variety of health and wellness services for Ogle, northern Lee and western DeKalb counties. Services provided include emergency care, diagnostic imaging, home healthcare resources, rehabilitation services, occupational health, inpatient and outpatient surgery, outpatient services, pain management, and diabetic self-management.
• Rochelle Community Hospital was recently named the #1 Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in the State of Illinois and continues to be ranked as an iVantage HealthStrong Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in the United States.
• The Rochelle community includes churches of several denominations. The Rochelle School District includes Rochelle High School built in 2006; a middle school and four elementary schools, one new building opened in 2013.
• Rochelle, also known as the "Hub City", is a town with a population of 10,000 and is located about 75 miles west of Chicago and 25 miles south of Rockford. Recreational opportunities are abundant, such as enjoying the numerous parks, sports facilities, golfing, swimming, boating and fishing. Dining options include a wide array of restaurants offering foods of various nationalities. The downtown businesses consist of various specialty shops, and antique shops.
