MedCare Staffing is seeking a General Practice/Family Practice Physician for locums coverage at a Federal Correctional Institution near Sacramento, CA. Position begins ASAP and last for 4 months with an option of another 4 month extension.
Monday through Friday 7a-3p.
Scope of Practice:The duties of this position require frequent and direct contact with individuals in confinement who are suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States. The Physician will be responsible for providing in-house medical consultation and evaluation services to chronic care ambulatory and general population inmates.
Requirements: Either Board Eligible or Board Certified with an Active CA state license. BLS is also needed.
