The primary duties for this job include supervision for the nursing staff, (including RN's, LPN's and MA's) staffing for call-offs, on call as needed, organization of the shifts and creating/maintaining nursing schedule
Provides new hire orientation and maintains positive working relations with co-workers
Responds to and effectively resolves staff issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Possesses current, unrestricted RN license in Pennsylvania
Strong background in supervisory duties, knowledge of HIPPA laws and state licensing regulations
Demonstrates sound leadership skills including time management, organization, prioritization and sound written and oral communication skills.
Strong leadership ability, team builder, ability to drive continuous improvement projects, confidentiality, excellent problem-solving skills and excellent communicator
MUST have a reliable car as travel in between sites will be necessary
Must maintain professional demeanor and attire at all times
Must be fluent in English, both written and verbally
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening check
