General Practitioner - Physician - (General Practice - GP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/16/2014Available Shifts: Varied Shift
A primary care physician is needed to provide patient services on an ongoing, locum tenens basis, at this outpatient facility. The services will begin immediately upon the completion of credentialing and will last until a permanent hire can be identified. Working hours will be part time in nature, and the facility is flexible on the schedule.
A general practice physician(locum tenens), like a family care doctor, provides primary and ongoing care for their patients, usually serving as the first point of contact when a medical issue arises. These physicians are trained to deal with both the physical and emotional aspects of medicine, often forging lasting bonds with patients and families over generations. Often times, GPs run specialized practices within their offices, providing their patients with specialized treatments in certain medical areas, such as obstetrics, instead of having to refer the patient to another physician.
Required Qualifications
The physician shall have an active BLS prior to the start date.
