Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Locum Tenens Family Practice Physician needed1 day per week in eastern PA from Jan- June. Schedule is 8 hour shifts from 9-5. There is no call. Must be board certified/eligible. Will also accept Internal Medicine or Urgent Care Physician. 20-25 patients will be seen per day. If this posting does not meet your qualifications or preferences please know we have many opportunities available in all areas of the country.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
