Practice Information:
Take advantage of joining a well-respected hospital employed primary care clinic. This practice is located in Berwyn, Illinois. Join one other physician who practices traditional medicine. We are seeking a bi-lingual, Spanish speaking physician to accommodate the patient population. Approximately 25% of the patient population is Spanish speaking with a good mix of 70% adults and 30% pediatrics
Hours and Call requirements:
Physicians are scheduled to work 40 patient care hours a week, this includes hospital rounding. We ask that the physicians schedule at least 1 late clinic day a week. Physicians are on call for their own patients during the week and weekend call is rotated 1:6. The practice is open Monday through Friday and 1-Saturday a month (half day). This is a busy practice seeing on average 18-25 patients a day in the office. Physicians are required to take ED call at least once a month per the hospital bylaws.
Average daily patient census:
On average the practice can see anywhere from 18-25 patients in the office. The new physician will have a small established patient base already
Special procedures, training or experience needed:
Family Medicine physician, open to new grad and experienced physician. Spanish speaking preferred.
