Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Indian Health Clinic in Rhode Island is in immediate need of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician. The clinic is outpatient only and the hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, no call and no weekends. The contract would start immediately upon completion of credentialing and would continue for 3 months with the option to extend.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice
DEA, BLS required
EHR experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer Rhode Island license
