Correctional medicine provides the perfect outlet for physicians that want the best of both worlds; a rewarding career and more time to spend on your personal life. Our providers work a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts. This unique specialty allows physicians to focus on practicing medicine, and not on the daily distractions of a traditional practice. You will actually spend your day practicing medicine.
See an average of 10-12 patients per 8-hour shift. Manage care of a large group of patients with multiple sometimes complicated chronic care issues. Utilize NextGen EMR. Extensive orientation and mentoring program offered.
