Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A facility in New Jersey is in need of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine provider for coverage August 13th and 14th to do preventative health exams at corporate health events. The exams Include biometrics - blood pressure, weight,- and providing recommendations to improve individuals health. Please call Staff Care for more details!
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, & AMP; DEA required, Board Certified
Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician needed Aug 13th 8:00a - 5:00p & Aug 14th 3p-11p. (Prefer provider be on site 30min before shift start to be completely ready for first patient ) - Must be US Citizen, US trained and must bring photo ID. The will see an average 20 per day. Typical Cases: seeing employees in a health fair setting (similar to our health fairs in office). Provider will be doing preventative health exams at corporate health events. Includes biometrics (blood pressure, weight, and providing recommendations to improve the numbers.
