Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Staff Care has a new locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina for a Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician for the summer months. This assignment begins in July and will extend until our client hires a permanent physician. The clinic is seeking Monday through Friday coverage, and is also open to 3 days a week if our candidate prefers that schedule. This is a great flexible opportunity that will provide a great work life balance. There is a full support staff on site, and no call is required. Call us today to hear more!
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
Required Qualifications
The facility prefers board-certified physician but will consider travel and/or board-eligible. EHR/EMR experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
