True Southern Charm! Family Practice Physician Opportunity in a Suburb of Richmond!
As the incoming physician, you’ll join a private practice with a thriving, progressive family medicine and weight loss program that has been serving the area for over a decade. You\'ll practice approximately 50/50 primary care and weight loss. The weight loss component of the practice focuses on weight management and health care maintenance through dietary counseling, hunger management aids, and weekly monitoring of the patient\'s health status. The patients are primarily healthy individuals whose goal is to lose weight to improve their health status. After the initial visit with the health care provider, the health management team monitors the patients weekly, with health provider visits every two weeks and then as needed. The practice has had continued growth over the years and the trend is expected to continue allowing you to have a very successful practice. Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 8am-6pm with a nurse practitioner normally taking all call for the practice. EMR is in place.
