Family Practice Physician - (PCP - FP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Nationwide company is opening a new clinic in and needs Family Practice or Internal Medicine Locum Tenen coverage while they recruit their permanent providers. Client needs one physician for the site who will be the solo practitioner. Locum will treat all adult patients, much geriatric and acute care. It is important for the provider to be good with and willing to work with elderly patients. Client prefers local candidates but is open to looking at candidates who require travel and lodging.
Family practice physicians(locum tenens) are usually the first point of contact for people seeking medical care. These doctors must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from broken bones to more exotic illnesses. Family physicians often care for families across generations and are an integral part of many people's lives. In cases where more specialized medical care is needed, a family practice physician will refer their patient to another physician for more focused care.
