Family Medicine Physician Needed in Northeast Iowa

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa is looking for a full time, BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join their team at the Olwein location.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Covenant Medical Center offers northeast Iowa's only certified brain, spinal cord and inpatient medical rehabilitation program.
• The area's only regional Level II intensive care nursery is located at Covenant Medical Center.
• Covenant also provides the community's only certified cancer care center and has the distinction of being approved by the Commission of Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
• Covenant Clinic, comprised of approximately 140 physicians, specialty physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide care in the communities in which patients live and work.
• Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Iowa is an integrated network of not-for-profit hospitals and physician clinics for profit retail pharmacies and home medical services that share the common goal of providing quality health care in northeast Iowa.

Cedar Falls
• Cedar Falls has been named one of the Hundred Best Small Art Towns in America. Baseball at Riverfront Stadium, water slides at Lost Island Water Park or biking on the eighty miles of hard surfaced bike trails provide all types of recreational opportunities. Waterloo
• Waterloo lies next to Cedar Falls. It is home to the University of Northern Iowa.

Oelwein
• Oelwein, population 6,415, is a small melting pot, rich in diversity and culture. Oelwein was named "Hub City" because of the rail lines coming into town and the repair shops located there.
• The Williams Center for the Performing Arts is a modern auditorium with seating for 800. Performers include frequent visits from regional and national performers as well as local talent.
• Shop our historic downtown with many unique specialty shops, art gallery, and fine dining.
• Visit the nearby Old Order Amish Community. Amish tours include narrative Amish information/history, lunch (in Oelwein or at an Amish location), stops at various Amish stores, farm tour, bakery, Amish auction, and more.

• A paved hiking/biking trail is being extended to connect all parks in town.
