Exciting Physician Medical Director Opportunity at a Correctional Facility in Beautiful Upstate New York!
Position open to permanent placement, locum tenens, or locum to perm! As the incoming physician, you\'ll need to be able to work a 40 hour work week and be comfortable supervising mid-level providers. Patient population includes males, females, and some juveniles. You\'ll be responsible for the management, oversight, and adherence to federal and state correctional health care standards and institutional regulations and guidelines in the provision of medical care for the facility. Supervisory experience in correctional health care is preferred, but not required. Position comes with an excellent compensation package, with a salary in the top MGMA and full, comprehensive benefits. Requirements: board eligible or board certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, current DEA, and current CPR certification. Facility will help with the state medical license if needed.
