I am recruiting on behalf of a hospital client in western SC who is looking to add another Family Practice physician to a hospital based group. This is a traditional practice opportunity with a mix of outpatient and inpatient, though they are moving to outpatient only. Hospitalists are on staff. OB is not required. Call will be 1:3. There are also two Nps in the practice. The hospital has also partner with the Medical University of SC to offer a family practice residency program. Work at just one medical center, licensed for just under 200 beds. Compensation and benefits are always competitive.
The area is truly a mix of rural and urban amenities with the Blue Ridge Mts, several lakes, plus arts, theater, restaurants, shopping, and many historical sites. The city sits a few miles off of I-85, directly between Charlotte and Atlanta. This corridor has become one of the fastest growing regions in the nation. And, specifically, this corner of the state has attracted an influx of retirees to this area for its mix of rural and urban. Close to the Greenville/Spartanburg area.
