• OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, is a state-of-the-art 47-bed healthcare facility, built new in September of 2002 to replace the original hospital which opened in 1907.
• Call is 1:5 on the weekends. Physicians take their own call during the week with nurse triage taking first call after hours.
• This position is in an outpatient setting with limited inpatient duties. Limited inpatient responsibilities include a 1:7 week call for only pediatric admission and newborn nursery care. Hospitalist group covers adult inpatients.
• A family medicine or dual boarded med/ped physician with quality medical training who has completed ABMS board certification or American Board of Osteopathic Medicine is desired. A newly trained physician will also be considered with the stipulation that board certification must be achieved within a few years for continued employment.
• This position includes a base salary commensurate with experience plus work RVU bonus incentives. Benefits include paid malpractice, CME, association membership dues, holidays, vacation weeks and paid expenses of relocation allocation. Health, life, and dental insurance, retirement tax annuity options, and other retirement options are also included in our benefit package.
