• OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, is a state-of-the-art 47-bed healthcare facility, built new in September of 2002 to replace the original hospital which opened in 1907.
• Call is 1:5 on the weekends. Physicians take their own call during the week with nurse triage taking first call after hours.
• This position is in an outpatient setting with limited inpatient duties. Limited inpatient responsibilities include a 1:7 week call for only pediatric admission and newborn nursery care. Hospitalist group covers adult inpatients.
• A family medicine or dual boarded med/ped physician with quality medical training who has completed ABMS board certification or American Board of Osteopathic Medicine is desired. A newly trained physician will also be considered with the stipulation that board certification must be achieved within a few years for continued employment.
• This position includes a base salary commensurate with experience plus work RVU bonus incentives.
