Family Practitioner or Internal Medicine Physician needed in New York (about 70 miles northwest of NYC)
This is a locum tenens assignment starting ASAP. Client is also recruiting for perm as well.
This is a County Correctional facility.
Very flexible on the days of the week. Are looking for about 20-24 hours per week of part-time work. There are two other part-time MD's who work here.
Average of 12-15 patients per day. All Adult. Both male and female.
Working in the medical wing of correctional facility. Main duties are: intakes, physicals, urgent care, detox. All outpatient setting.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
Prefer some military or correctional experience but not required.
Must have a clean background. Can complete credentialing in 2 days.
Travel and lodging is paid for.
