ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Loring Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Sac City, Iowa serving a four county market consisting primarily of Sac, Buena Vista, Calhoun, and Pocahontas counties.
• Loring’s primary service area includes Sac County, which has a total population of approximately 10,331 people.
• With 140 jobs and over a $4 million in worker salaries, Loring Hospital is the second largest employer in the county. Loring has three primary care physicians, two nurse practitioners, and over 40 visiting specialty physicians providing services to the patients in our area.
• Loring is directly affiliated with UnityPoint Health in Fort Dodge, Iowa via Critical Access Hospital Network and Management agreements.
