Family Practice Physician - Obstetrics - (PCP - FP - OB) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Family Practice Physician with or without OB is needed in southwestern Wisconsin facility for 16 weeks of coverage beginning January 1st. This is a Tuesday through Friday, 8a-5p clinic schedule with 1:2 call. The clinic usually sees 8-15 patients per day and has a full support staff to assist. Family practice with obstetrics(locum tenens) is a subspecialization of general family medicine in which physicians receive OB/GYN training after they have completed a family practice residency. These physicians function in many ways like traditional family medicine physicians, treating families (often times through generations), serving as first points of contact and as referring physicians. In addition to these services, family practice doctors who have been trained in obstetrics can assist and treat pregnant patients up until time of delivery.
Required Qualifications
