Family Medicine Physician

Family Medicine Physician (With OB) – Employed & Full Time

Oaklawn Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician (with Obstetrics) who will practice within the Oaklawn Medical Group (OMG) to provide high quality primary care services to patients of all ages.

Having graduated from an accredited medical school, you must secure a Michigan medical license, possess a valid DEA number, and maintain hospital privileges. You shall be eligible to be credentialed and contractible on Oaklawn Hospital insurance plans and must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs.

BLS and ACLS required. ATLS, PALS preferred.

This physician will:

Provide direct patient care (to include diagnoses, treatment and/or proper referral)

Evaluate patients in a courteous and timely manner and must possess a clear style

Have awareness of immunization statutes, schedules and contraindications

Appropriately chart in electronic medical records

Participate in a 1:4 OB call schedule.

Attend assigned hospital meetings as directed or requested by OMG Administration

Attend necessary continuing medical education (CME) programs

Work with support and administrative staff in a positive and constructive manner

Participate in activities such as health fairs, classes, and community events

Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested
