Great Sports Medicine Opportunity in Stunning Minnesota
Job Description:
In this employed position, you will join a multi-specialty group of 90 physicians.
The Medical Center, a combined hospital and clinic facility, is located on the northern edge of the Twin Cities just 35-40 minutes from downtown Minneapolis or St Paul.
Onsite services include: digital X-ray, MRI, CT and nuclear imaging. Also enjoy a partnership with an onsite private orthopedic group.
The Emergency Department has 40,000 visits per year and Emergency Department physicians are also employed as partners providing opportunity for high volume referrals. Physical therapy also is located within the facility.
The group seeks a primary care sports medicine physician to join an existing primary care sports medicine provider in a busy practice.
Group can offer the flexibility of a full-time musculoskeletar practice or up to 50/50 blend with your primary specialty.
Responsibilities: This position is primarily clinic medicine with an option of providing hospital and/or OB care if included in your primary care specialty, although not required.
Group is seeking a partner who is motivated to continue the growth of sports medicine in the community with educational talks and building relationships with the five large high schools in the region by providing training room coverage and athletic event coverage.
They also seek someone to supervise athletic trainers. There also is the possibility of providing training to residents and medical students.
Requirements: Board certified in primary specialty, CAQ, fellowship training in sports medicine or equivalent experience.
